Jim Densmore
Jim has been a follower of Christ for thirty years. During this time, he has been blessed to have been mentored and discipled by Pastors and mature believers who have instilled in him a desire to follow the Lord wholeheartedly and to serve his community and the Kingdom of God through the essential ministry of a local body of believers. Jim has studied theology, philosophy and science and has taught and mentored other believers and teachers through one-on-one discipleship, home groups, Sunday School, and preaching, and has previously served as an elder.
Jim is in full agreement with the emphasis that Solid Rock places on our complete dependence and absolute necessity of the Gospel for all aspects of our Christian life and is excited and humbled to be called to serve Solid Rock as an elder. Jim previously worked in the Technology field for over forty years and is currently working part time doing real-estate photography. Jim and his wife Rho have been married for thirty years and enjoy hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and pickleball and playing and relaxing with their two cats, Kindle and Koda and their black Labrador, Milana.
