Welcome to Solid Rock Christian Fellowship
Solid Rock Christian Fellowship is a church in Prescott, Arizona, is located on the downtown square. Formerly known as First Baptist Church, Solid Rock is the oldest of the Baptist churches in Prescott, planted back in 1880. As a Christian church, we are focused on Christ, and we have a long history of seeking to fulfill the Great Commission.
The Gospel Is Our One Thing
Paul said to the Corinthians, “I have determined to know nothing among you except for Jesus Christ and him crucified.” We are a Christian church and a Baptist church, but infinitely more importantly, we are a Jesus church. Jesus is not just a door. He is the entire path, and we are journeying with him and one another as we seek to love God and love our neighbors.
The Gospel Is Our Only Thing
Whoever you are, wherever you are coming from, whether you are a Christian or not, we believe the gospel is the only thing that ultimately matters. We take seriously the call for Christians to become part of a local church with whom we worship and serve, and are trained for service under the faithful preaching of God’s Word.

Going Smaller Is for Growing Deeper
Our church has home fellowships, as well as Sunday school classes. These are smaller gatherings where you can share life on a deeper level. By going smaller, there are more opportunities for growing deeper spiritually and growing deeper relationally.
Children’s Ministry – Pointing Children to Jesus
God calls us to tell the coming generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord (Psalm 78:4). Our goal is to serve parents and love their children through teaching them gospel-centered lessons and having fun with purpose. We want to serve parents and their children in grace-based truth rather than law-based moralism. Our children’s ministry takes place during our worship gatherings.
Solid Rock Youth
Solid Rock Youth is a group of students who are passionate about knowing Jesus and making Him known. This is evident by the way we interact with one another and worship Jesus during our time of music. The teachings are Gospel-centered, interactive, and age-appropriate. We have a welcoming group of youth leaders and students who look forward to meeting you! Youth Group starts 6:30 pm, Wednesday Nights for grades 6-12 in the Smyth Center.
Ladies Ministry
Thrive is for all ladies with the intention that “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4 We gather monthly to grow through the Psalms together by way of teaching and small group discussion. Many of our ladies also gather weekly in small discipleship groups to thrive in relationship, love of God, knowledge of God, and service to the body of God.

Ladies Ministry
Something wonderful happens when women get together whether it’s two, twenty two or two hundred; it usually falls under the category of fellowship, fun & food. We encourage one another to build life-long relationships with friends and neighbors. We share the gift God gives each one of us through lunches, brunches, tears, laughter, retreats, Bible studies, quilting or just spending time together.
