What will my first Sunday morning be like?
A typical Sunday morning includes a welcome, announcements, singing, and a message from the Scriptures that both shows us Jesus and connects to our lives! Once a month, we celebrate communion. Occasionally you will witness baptisms. Some of our Sundays include a person sharing their testimony. In each of our services you will have the opportunity give us information about yourself, on a visitor card, so that we can get to know you better. Each environment includes an offering which is an opportunity for our regular attenders to participate financially in what God is doing in our community and throughout the world. We invite our visitors to allow the offering plate to pass by without feeling any pressure to participate. On most weeks, services last for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
When should I arrive?
We have one worship service at 10:30 am.
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the service begins to park and find a seat.
Where do I park?
We have some parking lots on our campus plus there is an abundance of public parking that is easily accessible on Sunday mornings all around us. Our main lot is accessible from Cortez, between Marina and Goodwin. In addition, here are some other excellent options for parking:
Street parking on our four surrounding streets: Marina, Goodwin, Cortez and Union.
County parking lot on the corner of Marina and Union.
Library parking lot on the corner of Goodwin and Marina.
Where do I go?
When you arrive, go to the Main Worship Center for our service. The primary entrance for the Main Worship Center is on Marina Street near the corner of Marina and Goodwin.
What do I wear?
Whatever you would like! On any Sunday morning, you will see people in a wide range of clothing, from shorts and flip-flops to dresses and suits and ties. The bottom line is that we want you to wear what is comfortable for you.
What options exist for my children?
In any of our environments, children are always welcome to stay with their parents. In addition, we have some excellent options for children.
For the youngest children (newborn to pre-K)
For the entire morning, we have a very loving nursery called the Little Critters Care Center.
For older children (K-5th Grades)
We have Children’s Ministry during the 10:30 hour. Our greeters can show you where to register and check-in your children when you arrive.
How do I check my children in?
For Little Critters Care Center, you can check-in your child with our computerized system on the lower floor of the Main Worship Center. For Children’s Ministry (10:30), you can register your child through our family entrance in our lower level.
