  • Terry & Jeannie Dalrymple

    CHE Network | Global

Terry currently serves as Coordinator of the Global CHE Network and Vice President of the Alliance for Transformational Ministry. He provides leadership to a growing movement, equipping and mobilizing Christians to work together for effective Community Health Evangelism (CHE) ministries in rural poor communities and urban slums around the world.

CHE is a breakthrough mission strategy that seamlessly integrates evangelism and discipleship with disease prevention and community-based development. The work is wholistic, seeking to meet the whole need of individuals and communities – spiritually, physically, socially, and economically. Through CHE ministries people become followers of Jesus, churches are planted, and whole communities are lifted out of cycles of poverty and disease.

After a decade of service in the Philippines, Terry pioneered for Medical Ambassadors International in 9 countries in Southeast Asia, working together with partners to establish CHE ministries in more than 400 communities. Later as International Coordinator he guided the expansion of a growing global movement.

Terry is a capable teacher, author, and enthusiastic speaker on the subjects of Biblical wholism and transformational development. He holds a Bachelors degree in Bible, and a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in Portland Oregon. Terry is married to Jeannie who works as a nurse at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a clinical instructor. Their three children are grown now and they are blessed with four grandchildren.

Standing Stone Ministry | Prescott, AZ

Standing Stone Ministry’s mission is to guide ministry leaders into healthier ministry by establishing trusted, confidential relationships with pastors and other ministry leaders.

David grew up in a non-Christian family in California. In the summer after high school graduation he met a follower of Christ who patiently shared the gospel with him. In August of that year he gave his heart and life to Jesus.

  • Steve & Laura Newkirk

    World Venture | Dakar, Senegal

Roughly 10 million people live in Senegal, about one-fifth of them live in Dakar, the capital city. Since 92 percent of Senegal’s population claim Islam as their religion, the Newkirks hear the Muslim call to prayer five times a day.

“It is our desire to see a national led church planted in Dakar,” say the Newkirks. In order to do this effectively, the Newkirks have spent the last four years learning both the French and Wolof languages and the Senegalese culture. They have been praying with, observing, and working with Senegalese church leaders. Laura has been traveling each month to the village of Soma and participating with Senegalese women in evangelistic campaigns.

The Newkirks have been encouraged with the foundation that has been laid by their colleagues in Senegal. Some of the young men that their colleagues have trained are now strong church leaders. The churches, and many other missions working in Senegal are cooperating with one another and have unified in an association of evangelical Christians. A home missions society has also been established. “It is exciting to watch the Senegalese grow in their motivation to reach their countrymen,” say the Newkirks.

Since the Wolof people love stories, Laura has enjoyed teaching the Bible chronologically using a storytelling method. This has been an effective way to get the Wolof people to listen to what the Bible says.

Steve has been involved in boutique and media ministry. The boutique offers various types of books, a study center, a platform for Christian artists to sell their creations, and a safe place to meet and discuss ideas with people. Evangelistic radio broadcasts, video and audio tape in Wolof are proving to be effective tools in Senegal’s oral culture.
