About Sunday Morning:

Judging others is not a problem that only exists in the church among adults.  A couple of minutes on the playground at school recess reveals that children can say some pretty mean things to others without any deserving provocation. The fifth question in our consideration of questions Jesus asks us, Kids on The Rock talked about the meaning of “Why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?”  Through the story of the pharisee and the tax collector, the kids learned that judging others is God’s job, not ours!
Matthew 7:1 instructs us, “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.”
Remembering that we as well as everyone else will never be perfect until we get to Heaven, our response is to pray that God will help us focus on our own issues and not the issues of other.  Even as God is working on us and changing us to be more like Jesus, so he is with others.

Come join us in our mission of discovering the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ, our solid Rock who provides a sure foundation on which to build our lives!

This mission includes joining in family worship in a blended service beginning at 9:00.  To assist them in exploring the treasures included in the Bible study of the morning, children through age twelve have the option of completing pencil activities presented in an age-appropriate bulletin. These bulletins can also serve as springboards for follow-up family discussions of the message.  Some of the bulletins direct the child to a website to review their findings as they participate in Bible-themed computer games.

From 10:15 to 11:45 loving Christ-followers are ready to guide Kindergarten through 5th grade students in their mission as parents worship in the Revive and Latino environments.  Large and small group activities enable these young Bible explorers to delve deeper into the truths of God’s Word and learn how these truths relate to their daily lives here and now.  To implement our goal to partner with parents in the spiritual development of their children, parents can then further pursue the application of these principles with their children through post-lesson, at-home activities.

Come join the expedition where the discoveries are unending and eternal!

If you come to Wednesday campus activities like a Fellowship Group, Bible Study, or volunteer with the Youth, your children are welcome to join W.O.W. Learn more by clicking here.
