We are excited that you are considering visiting Solid Rock Christian Fellowship on Sunday morning. We have designed this page to help answer some of your questions and to assist you in knowing what to expect when you arrive!
When should I arrive?
We have three different worship environments. They begin at the following times:
- 9:00 AM Celebration (Blended worship style)
- 10:30 AM: Latino (Spanish speaking worship style)
- 10:30 AM Revive (contemporary worship style)
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the service begins to park and find a seat.
Where do I park?
We have some parking lots on our campus plus there is an abundance of public parking that is easily accessible on Sunday mornings all around us. Our main lot is accessible from Cortez, between Marina and Goodwin. In addition, here are some other excellent options for parking:
- Street parking on our four surrounding streets: Marina, Goodwin, Cortez and Union.
- County parking lot on the corner of Marina and Union.
- Library parking lot on the corner of Cortez and Marina.
Click here for a map of our church and the parking options that exist.
Where do I go?
When you arrive, go to the Main Worship Center for Celebration and Latino environment. The primary entrance for the Main Worship Center is on Marina Street near the corner of Marina and Goodwin. The Revive environment meets in the Revive Worship Center on Cortez Street between Goodwin and Union. Click on the map to see each of these locations. When you get here, regular attendees and greeters will be able to direct you to the location of your choice!
What do I wear?
Whatever you would like! On any Sunday morning, you will see people in a wide range of clothing, from shorts and flip-flops to dresses and suits and ties. In general, people in Classic dress up the most and people in Revive are the most casual, but you will see a variety in each of the environments. The bottom line is that we want you to wear what is comfortable for you.
What options exist for my children?
In any of our environments, children are always welcome to stay with their parents. In addition, we have some excellent options for children.
For the youngest children (newborn to pre-K)
For the entire morning, we have a very loving nursery called the Little Critters Care Center.
For older children (K-5th Grades)
We have Kids’ Kingdom for the entire service for both hours. Our greeters can show you where to register and check-in your children when you arrive.
For Youth (6th – 12th Grade)
Youth have class from 9:00-10:15 AM, led by our Pastor of Student Ministries, Tony Clark.
Youth meet in the Revive Worship Center across from the main auditorium. During Revive, youth attend the Revive environment with their friends or families.
How do I check my children in?
For Little Critters Care Center, you can check-in your child with our computerized system on the lower floor of the Main Worship Center. For Kids’ Kingdom (9:00 hour), you can sign your child in with our loving volunteers on the lower floor of the Main Worship Center at the check-in table. For Kids’ Kingdom (10:30), you can register your child as you enter the 10:30 Revive environment and then children will go with their leaders to our Education Wing.
What will my first Sunday morning be like?
A typical Sunday morning includes a welcome, announcements, singing, and a sermon that covers a biblical passage. Once a month, we celebrate communion. Occasionally you will witness baptisms. Some of our Sundays include a person sharing their testimony. In each of our services you will have the opportunity give us information about yourself, on a visitor card, so that we can get to know you better. Each environment includes an offering which is an opportunity for our regular attenders to participate financially in what God is doing in our community and throughout the world. We invite our visitors to allow the offering plate to pass by without feeling any pressure to participate. On most weeks, services last for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We hope to see you on Sunday!
